Starcraft 2 does not have LAN
June 30, 2009
A blizzard rep has recently told Kotaku:
We don’t currently plan to support LAN play with StarCraft II, as we are building Battle.net to be the ideal destination for multiplayer gaming with StarCraft II and future Blizzard Entertainment games. While this was a difficult decision for us, we felt that moving away from LAN play and directing players to our upgraded Battle.net service was the best option to ensure a quality multiplayer experience with StarCraft II and safeguard against piracy.
Bad move I say. LAN has been with gamers for a long time and to suddenly remove it is like killing off co-op for games.

Ars Technica: Lower Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 prices in the fall
June 27, 2009Ars Technica recently wrote up an article about how the playstation 3 and the xbox 360 will be cheaper this fall.
Apparently, the PS3 80GB versions will be constraint. Thus, will be phased out and replaced by 160GB PS3s. This means we can expect retailers to lower the prices of the 80GBs so they can clear out the inventory.
The XBOX 360 pros will be replaced with the Elite 120GB 360s as the standard. Therefore, we can expect deals and good bundles to surface and drive sales of the Pro systems.

The setting is in Brazil with an older Max Payne.
However, the look of the game seems to be similar to Uncharted 2. A bit too similar.

Update
Apparently there will be no new xbox 360. HOWEVER! Let me point out that this happened the last time a new PSP rumor surfaced and what do we have now? The PSP go! Therefore, we can expect that this may be just a mistake from Steve Ballmer or an actual new xbox 360 being released in 2010.
